Dayna is a pioneer for freedom and peace through her work as an Unschooling advocate. Author of “Radical Unschooling: A Revolution Has Begun,” and her newest book, “Sexy Birth,” she has been featured on The Dr. Phil Show, CNN, Nightline, Fox News The Jeff Probst Show and most recently, she starred on the ABC hit show, Wife Swap. Dayna travels and helps families worldwide as, “The UnNanny.” Dayna promotes shifting from control to connection with children and inspires parents to respect their children through partnership parenting.

Dayna runs the two largest Unschooling conferences in the nation, the LifeRocks! Conference in North Conway, NH and the Rethinking Everything Conference, in Dallas, Texas. Dayna lives in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, U.S.A.,and has four truly free children and a wonderful husband who she spends her days with in love, freedom and peace.

She would like to have traveled worlwide, but has not.

The largest unschooling conference in the nation is Mary Gold's "Life is Good" conference. The second largest is Kathryn Baptista's "Northeast Unschooling Conference."

She has been the keynote speaker at major Unschooling Conferences worldwide, including in London, England and Australia. Dayna promotes shifting from control to connection with children and inspires parents to respect their children through partnership parenting. Joe Martin

Joe is a father of four, loving husband and entrepreneur. He owns his own business willowtoys.com and in his spare time he is a professional photographer. Joe has been a speaker at the London Unschooling Conference in 2009, the Australian Unschooling Conference in 2010 and was organizer of the Unschooling Adventure Cruise to Bermuda in 2010. He publishes inspirational videos on YouTube and is a work at home parent who nurtures four kids passions and says YES as much as he can. Joe loves to be outside and enjoys skiing gardening, recycling and diving in dumpsters. Joe looks forward to sharing his passion for Life, Unschooling and partnership parenting at Rethinking Everything 2013!

He is a "professional photographer" in that he sends photos to a site set up as a contest, but gives people the option to buy stock photos. Some of his photos have placed in the top 20% of the voted-by-participants contests, but he openly solicits "votes," against the site's rules.

Joe was not a speaker at the London Unschooling Conference in 2009. He and Matt Speno were listed as coordinators of a dad's discussion. The schedule listed speakers, and had biographies for them. Joe was not listed on the preliminary schedule nor the final, printed version.

Joe was on the schedule for the Australian conference: [Talk by Joe Martin & James Hall - Dad's perspective on Unschooling & RU discussion group & Fathers Day Craft/ Dad's handmade gift presentations], but it didn't happen in that form. The schedule was changed at the site, people missed talks because of that, and there was at some point a dad's chat with Joe (not James). An attendee wrote "I recall some sort of group dads exercise/chat and a dads night out."

There was no 2010 cruise.
Joe was not the organizer of the 2009 cruise. Neither was Dayna. The cruise organizer was Mik McEwen, and she was squeezed out by Dayna claiming both of the only two rooms "earned" by their four or five registered families. The cruise was mispresented beforehand and afterward.
