[1] Seneschals must know these things, but anyone else with a serious interest in the Society should know, too. Contenders for Crown Tournament should read these things in advance of the tournament, rather than after winning. Barons and Baronesses should keep abreast of changes of law and policy, so that people in their groups feel informed and supported.
