Peach Cobbler

(or other fruit)

Ingredients

1 stick of butter

1 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

2 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. salt

2 cups fruit (fresh, frozen, canned).
[If from a can or jar, you can use the liquid, too.]

Directions

Pre-Heat oven to 350

Melt butter in pan while oven is pre-heating

Combine dry ingredients

Add milk

Stir (whisk if you have it; silicon spatula works well if not)

Pour into pan on top of melted butter.

Set the fruit on top, however you want to, and however much you want to use, but it's okay if it doesn't cover it up. The whole thing will gain the flavor of it.

Bake 40-45 minutes, or until it's browned and maybe pulling away from the sides a bit.

There's no one perfect moment to take it out. If it looks good, it probably is. If it stayed in too long, turn the piece upside down on the plate, or pour cream or half & half or put ice cream on it.
