Most controversial Wikipedia pages? Most passionate followers? Or at least the most revised of all time up to November 2013.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_reports/Pages_with_the_most_revisions

The list at the link includes Wikipedia maintenance and discussion pages. I was just interested in which articles people were editing. (The page has a link to Wikipedia:Database reports which shows all the automatically generated (daily, weekly, monthly) reports that help the people behind the scenes keep Wikipedia from falling into a chaos of abandoned pages and such.

This might be a test of your own curiosity. :-) Or discussion with kids who like lists and finding patterns. (It might be overwhelming for a lot of kids.)

I know some pages are or get locked based on some Wikipedia criteria to keep them from being vandalized. So this is the successful edits, not just the attempts.

Some things that surprised me were the number of wrestling pages. There are several soccer pages but I don't see any American sports pages. Jesus barely beats out Total Drama which I hadn't even known of. (But now I do!) Interesting to see Adolf Hitler sandwiched between Barack Obama and Britney Spears. The ABS-CBN is a network broadcasting in the Philippines. I'm sure there's a reason for it being so high on the list but I don't have a clue!

Gabriella and Harry introduced Jim and me to Total Drama.  It's such a clever show.  I feel like since I watch Total Drama I'm quite current on all the other reality TV shows. :-)

That is such an interesting list! Even Goku  made it!

How interesting, Joyce!!
Wars are being played out on the internet, too. Wars past are still disupted even hundreds of years later because no one account can ever tell enough to satisfy all aspects. Not even "both sides," because there are too many angle of the "sides."

I looked this one up: "List of Omnitrix aliens"
Ben 10. I hadn't known what it was.

I watched a biography of Sophia Loren last week. If there had been a Wikipedia page of her, when she was young, it would probably have been being wrestled about like crazy. She was married in some countries, but others didn't recognize the marriage, and in those days you couldn't stay in the same house in Italy if you weren't married, and she was in legal trouble in Italy and not other countries. But now her history has settled down. :-) I bet her Wikipedia page is relatively peaceful.

OOps!

It went before it was ready.

My son is interested in World Word II. Not all the time but in waves. He has read about Hittler and I should point out that  Wikipedia is  a place he goes too, but not the only one.

He has mentioned that things get changed and added to the pages and that I should double check information from Wikipedia before I ever mentioned it to him!

He has also added stuff to Wiki pages on some games. I think that is pretty awesome that  kids today get to write real useful things  that matter to them in  a place like Wiki pages and forums . Wiki pages are not Wikipedia but they can be pretty awesome places.

My kids have , so far, not made to write stuff they don't care about or that it does not matter like all kids in school. Still my son likes to write here and there. He is 11 and has been writing  since he was 6. He actually was writing before he could read fluently because he wanted to.
