History of the discussion, and family changes
Sandra Dodd
I'm in Australia, and have spoken in four cities (three cities for long two-day events; one town for a two-hour event). Looking for photos of an anniversary dinner Keith and I had at Garduño's (my favorite restaurant, which later became a Breaking Bad location), I came across this and it's sweet and touches on some things that have been said and done lately:

It's about the 7th anniversary of Always Learning.
It has some photos of Holly, one a changing gif she did.
Countries to add, for readership since then: Ireland, Portugal, Brazil (maybe more I don't know about yet)
The gratitude remains.
Holly has moved out for a while; Marty is engaged to his girlfriend of five years; Kirby is living with a girlfriend who has a four-year-old girl. Life rolls on, and the best we can do is share fond memories but keep living here and now, where we are, when we are.
I've been with Schuyler, early in the trip and now. Her children are fourteen and sixteen-nearly-seventeen. I met them when they were very young, and have visited a couple of times since. Accounts of windows into their growth are in my "Schuyler Collection": http://sandradodd.com/schuylerwaynforth
Yesterday Simon, the older one, sat with Schuyler as she spoke about parenting teens, and he answered questions afterward with a poise most his age don't have.
Accounts of my own kids are throughout my site. You can do a search here: http://sandradodd.com/search
or look at photos of them at

It was kind of them to let their lives be shared in public. My kids have all spoken at least on panels. Kirby will speak in Texas in two weeks.

THANKS, Sherry!
I think there might be one or two from Germany and Spain, too, that I forgot to mention.

You can add Lebanon to your list too!

Thanks. And I forgot The Netherlands and Malaysia.
It's okay of people don't say where they are. Sometimes people read for a while and then go away. But it's fun sometimes to make a list, to remember that what someone writes here can help a child and a family on the other side of the world from them.
Thanks, everyone!

Well, I'm a Brit living in Saudi Arabia. Does that mean Saudi can be added too?
