No doubt I'll check mail another couple of times but if Southwest Airlines is
willing to go to Houston with a storm coming, I'm going!

Here's my speaking schedule:

Saturday 8:30- 9:30- Learning (or Remembering) How to Learn Sandra Dodd
Keynote Saturday 12:30- How Unschooling Will Change the World

My kids are all squared away to take care of themselves some because my
husband has a big busy season at work. My van needs to be in the shop anyway
(Again) so my being gone for a few days is good. And I've never seen a
hurricane (not that I'll get to, y'know) and so it will be educational.

Or I might just see the inside of Love Field airport in Dallas for a long
long time and then come back to Albuquerque!

But anyway, if anyone's wondering why I'm not here, that's why.

Having survived Hurricane Hugo in Charleston, SC, hurricane season always
freaks me out a little. Sending good thoughts to everyone in Lili's path....

Yep, and it stayed that way. No rain, no wind. I was hoping at LEAST for
some exciting rain.
