Well, I'm turning 41. Forty MIGHT have been traumatic, except that my
Beloved Patrner distracted me with a surprise party, a trip to London, and
many gifts. I suggested she may need to keep distracting me...except we
bought a house and have no money for exciting trips this year. I think I'll
just have to shake it off.

I'll be 30 in 2 more months. This past week I noticed that I have a
few streaks of gray here and there...

I got grey hairs at 30. Three years further on there are still the same
amount. Weird. Now I'm waiting for the wrinkles :(

PS My hair is usually dyed pink or red or purple. Hides the grey a treat
:)

Here's the secret to feeling young - marry someone older <vbg>.

I'm 42, Craig is 49. I'm dreading his 50th way more than any birthday I've
ever had.

I love the 40's EXCEPT - right at 40, lots of physical things got
problematic. It made getting older feel a bit more obvious.

What a wonderful celebration--sounds like you'll always have great memories of a milestone birthday. Hope you will have a lovely birthday closer to home.

I'm 48, I'll be "almost 50" later this month.
