Does anyone know where to buy, or pattern for making, a snugli style baby carrier for a doll? Jackie wants one for her *baby*.

Thanks!

I got one a long time ago, probably at Wal-mart. It was with a bunch of
patterns for doll clothes. (I might be able to dig it out and scan it for
you and send it in an attachment, if you don't have any luck finding one.)
What might be easier though would be to make a doll *sling.* All you would
need is some straight fabric and two rings to loop the tail of the sling
through. I just got my sister a new sling on ebay. Someone made them
homemade in the style of a Maya sling. It came with a dolly sling too. So
cute!! I can't wait to snuggle the little guy when he is finally born.

I asked my daughter, and she sent this:

http://celestialbaby.com/store/

"How about this? She is a super nice wahm, and she makes gorgeous doll
slings. Also sets that come with sling, diapers, bib, and a matching bag.
She does custom orders, so you can choose the fabric from what she has, which
often includes hemp, and hand-dyed fabrics. I have bought from her, and she
has very high standards for herself. She does not sell anything unless it
is perfect in quality.
Lots of people on the board have bought from her, and always rave about her
stuff."

The board she refers to would be Sage Parenting.

I found the envelope of the pattern I was thinking of, but not the insides.
:0) It was Simplicity #8105 and it made several doll accessories, like a
carrying basket, front carrier, diapers, clothes, etc. I tried to google it
but I couldn't find it. Sorry.

I got one that is a Pooh themed one at Collections Etc. Don't know what the
online URL is off the top of my head. It is a front carrier and came with a
stroller in the same pink Pooh theme.

Serena doesn't care for it. It is sized to fit Bitty Baby, Magic Attic
Baby, Gotz Lil Punkin, etc. If it is the right size you are welcome to it.
Email me privately.
