Ren

Hey,
Hows about a little get together one night for some wine and chit chat? Anyone interested?
I have a cheap bottle of champagne that a client brought in after the makeover event last week. :) OR I could bring something a bit better....
Watcha think?

Ren, who missed all the wine and chit chat on the terrace last year

Jon and Rue Kream

Hearing about everyone sitting around drinking wine last year made me so
jealous. I definitely want some hanging out time with you guys, and my big
fear about the conference is that I'm going to revert back to high school
shy when I see you all together, some of you already friends. So someone
take pity on me and pull me into the group if I'm standing there like a deer
in headlights, ok? ~Rue (lover of cheap champagne)

we should put what E mail lists we are on somewhere on our nametag that way
we could identify each other. I know I will never remember everyones name.

Oh! If I send you a picture will you paste me up somewhere near by and
slosh a little in my direction?

I'll be here whining about you all, there, wining. <g>

jealous. I definitely want some hanging out time with you guys, and my big
fear about the conference is that I'm going to revert back to high school
shy when I see you all together, some of you already friends.**

The first time I went to a conference where I could meet online friends
I went back into the bathroom to comb my hair and wash my hands and get
up my nerve seven times. Well, maybe it was only four or five, but it
sure felt like seven.

So, my tip is "if overwhelmed by fear, then hide in the bathroom and say
"Hello" to everyone who joins you there, because they're probably shy, too".

Have a good time!

**I'm sure I'll be using that advice :0). Thanks, Betsy. ~Rue

Okay, if I hear an English accent and I can't really understand what's being
said with those made-up words like "quid" and "bangers," I'll just tell
myself, "She's just moaning about the weather; shake your head and say, 'yeah it's
awful, isn't it?'"

I thought the crips were in California.

Yeah! That would be me! I'd love to! (Just hope I can...the kids are
going through a very "velcro" phase right now which might not mesh well
with a girls' night out in a hotel.) Might be fine, though, they love
hotels!

I did too, and didn't have a prayer of making it last year, but THIS year...

Rue - you just described me to a tee.
That was/is me too, shy and it's hard for me to walk up to a group and join
in.
Just a few months ago, a lady in our homeschool group said I reminded her of
a deer in headlights!
Please someone pull me into the group, too, because I want to be there but
it's hard sometimes. :o)
