Thank you, Joanna. I hadn't known what happened and was afraid to ask.
I'm so bad at keeping people, kids and lists straight and separate, and I
know there are a few kids amongst the unschooling folks with terminal
diseases and dangerous conditions, and I just kept my trap shut at the time
the notice was posted.

Sam Robert Wilkinson

OCEAN PINES -- Sam Robert Wilkinson, 8, of Ocean Pines, died Sunday, Jan. 19,
2003.

He was born in this area, a son of Robert H. Wilkinson Jr. and Joanna Engh
Wilkinson of Ocean Pines.

He was the brother of Carly, Jack and Jamie Wilkinson and the late Jay
Wilkinson.

His paternal grandparents are Peggy and Bill Kraemer and Robert and Alice
Wilkinson, all of Baltimore. His maternal grandparents are Fred and Michaele
Engh of West Palm Beach, Fla.

He was home-schooled and enjoyed the beach and swimming. Sam yer, he played
in Ocean City and Ocean Pines, and was a member of the MAKO Soccer League.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Community Church at
Ocean Pines. Interment will be in Gardens of the Pines.

In Sam's memory, contributions may be made to the "Sam Wilkinson Trust," c/o
Taylor Bank, 11103 Cathell Road, Berlin, Md. 21811.
