Posts deleted from Facebook discussions on unschooling

Below is a collection of deleted posts (some with explanations, some won't need them), so if something of yours was deleted and you wonder why, it might be here.

Always Learning and all my online unschooling discussions have had a "no fluff posts" policy. Each post was to be useful to many people, and substantial, and not just "me too" or "thanks."

"If every question is clear and every response is from an experienced unschooler, and carefully thought out, the forum will be invaluable to hundreds of people. If it's filled with confusion and fluff, it won't be worth maintaining. "

This!!!! ❤️

Thank you, I appreciate that

Thank you 💜💜💜

I am so sorry for your loss. Your son sounds like a very upstanding young man. Thank you for your post.

The person to whom it was addressed had written to me "I almost added something to the end of my post saying "please hold the condolences so it stays about unschooling" so she was fine.

No advice but it happens here too. My daughter is almost 10.

Thank you for sharing, a very familiar situation, so true
(adds nothing helpful, says "me too")

Thank you for all of this.

Thanks Joyce

Thank you for this.

Great stuff.

Yes

Ya. I can see that.

Those above are deleted for being too short. Here's one gone for being reallyreallylongandnobreaksatall

For fun, we ran a drill of posting things that mess up unschooling discussions. It was fun, and funny, and true to life (though there had never been so many in one place before). Not all is fluff. Some is parody of the sort of criticism that has never helped, too. We had a good time with this effusive outpouring of bad examples.

Worthless responses
