That's where all of my 'tinkering' starts. I used to be terrified of trying to fix 'mechanical' things. Then it hit me -- it's already broken! How much worse could it get? I have fixed and rigged all kinds of broken toys and gadgets around the house in the last several years, simply because Gary was at work and we couldn't afford to replace the non-functioning item right away.
