Does anyone know of a set of books that have multiple endings? That is, you
choose how the story turns at various points in the book in order to change
the ending each time you read it. Someone at a playground mentioned these
books but she didn't recall the author or specific titles.

Thanks,
Olivia

Nathan says they are called the * Choose your own Adventure * series.
He thinks the series has several authors.
They are put out by Bantam books.

Nicholas (9yo) has really enjoyed some of the Star Wars books that have the
pick your ending type of thing. We picked some up for him at Barnes and
Noble about a year ago........

Some Goosebumps are that way. These are quite popular with kids and might
be what is mentioned. You have to check the covers which will have the
regular titles on them and then a note in a blob that tells you you can
"choose from over 20 different scary endings."

Look for Choose You Own Adventure books in a search at any place with books online. You should get some titles and authors that way. I used to read these when I was about 8-10.

Dear Olivia,

I am new to this list and do not know how to post a message online but the
books you are asking about came out in the 80's and Im not sure they are
still being printed. The series is called "The Pick Your Own Adventure
Series" and is written by many different Authors.
I have a copy of one of the books sitting somewhere in my house but at this
moment I don't know where it is. When I find it I will let you know the
publishers name if you need it. Please let me know and good luck. I used
to read them a lot and loved them as a child.

Sincerely,
HollyAtchison

Thanks to everyone who responded about the "Choose Your Own Adventure"
books. We looked for and borrowed them today at the library.
