OOh, yes, always Marguerite Henry comes to mind, but also all the Enid
Blyton series books as well - just think _british_ authors for a great
selection of books on horses Brooke! ;-)

Chapters has about 20 books with Black Stallion in the title :-)

I used to like the Silver Brumby books, I can't remember the author, Eileen Mitchell? But I can't remember how old I was when I read them <g>
