Jenny E.

Shannon,
What does this part of your sig mean. I wonder about that every time I see it and I can't figure it out. I'm sure it's something that is going to make me feel really dense, but it is just driving me nuts to not understand it. Obviously I know what "born at home" means...it's the / and the second date that is throwing me off.

Thanks,

That is our second son who died when he was 12mos, 22days old. Maybe I
should put it another way. I had always wondered whether people would
understand what that meant. But you are the first to ask.

I understood the note (figured it out), and I'm sorry you lost a baby.

It would be clearer if you used a long dash or a hyphen.

2-2-02—3-3-03 (control/shift on a Mac and I don't know what on others)
or
2-2-02 -- 3-3-03

Clearer still if you used slashes for dates
2/2/02—3/3/03.

Sandra (being technical, with apologies)

Shannon,
I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question...I just didn't even think of that because I had never seen it done that way before.

Still very sad, but less likely to get "what does that mean?"
<<4/27/99-5/19/00 >>

And a longer dash might make it clearer (or a double hyphen).
