Elissa Jill, I'm the one in West Virginia. We live outside of Buckhannon,
about an hour from Clarksburg and 1/2 hour from Elkins...I guess you'd call it
north central WV.

What type of house are you building? We built ours of rough cut lumber and
anything else we could scrounge up...free windows, free bathtub, 5.00
sinks,...built the whole thing for under about 9,000, not counting well and septic.
Our roof is out of oak, (with shingles over the top of course), the frame is
poplar, and the sides are cherry. It's very nice living in timber country...it's
dirt cheap here!
