No, but Landon just read that one. A friend recommended it to him and he
LOVED it.. He is on to me to read it ASAP. He said his friend said it was
about "everything" When Landon read it, he said.. DAG!, it IS about
everything... lol. I can't wait to read it

Speaking of Pat Conroy, his "The Water is Wide" later made into the movie
"Conrack" is a great homeschooling movie, I would say. Shows a teacher
trying to go in and change the system, teach kids using alternative methods,
then being thrown out because he doesn't fit in their mold. Loved both of
them. (BIG Pat Conroy Fan!!)

It's one of those great books that goes down many, many side-story rabbit
trails....stories within stories....feels like it will never end (and that's
a good thing with this book!!)
