Just to clarify...when I said "a camp" I meant a nice Children's camp with
cabins and beds and hot showers. I personally prefer to sleep indoors most of
the time, particularly when I am going to be encountering other people.

Before you decide on camp vs hotel you should think about every aspect of it.
Like transportation, food, At a lot of camps with cabins you need to bring
your own linens, Air conditioning?, availability of audio visual equipment
that you might need. Vendors tents/areas. Trash. Do you need to clean up
the camp before you leave. Sweep/mop/clean toilets etc.
