Thanks! I've only seen Rain Man. She handles a lot of topics pretty well,
and if it doesn't appeal to her she can easily get away.

I am one of the few native american homeschoolers with a wealth of information regarding homeschooling (been at it over 12 yrs) There are a few movies i can recommend the first being native based on true events, THUNDERHEART with val kilmer, based on the 70s pine ridge rez events, also LAKOTA WOMAN, same era, they are of great significance to my ppl. Another would be GREY OWL, based on facts. Apart from those we have watched and found of good information to spark conversation was AMISTAD, TITANIC, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, WINDTALKERS (navajo codetalkers), INSTINCT (shocking how much empathy was brought about by this movie. WE WERE SOLDIERS, GETTYSBURG, THE WALL, THE TUSKEGEE AIRMEN, HAMLET (MEL GIBSON) AFRICANS IN AMERICA, ZULU, LORD OF THE RINGS, CELTS,SPARTACUS, ULYSSES, SANDS OF IWO JIMA, KIGHTS AND ARMOR, PATTON, ROBERT E. LEE , CAMELOT, GALLIPOLI, BEN HUR, GREASTEST STORY EVER TOLD, NAVAJO CODE TALKERS. We have so many more after yrs. of collecting that there are too many to mention feel free to ask me. For the younger ones I recommend BEN AND ME, ASTRONOMY 101, SECRET OF ROAN INISH, SQUANTO, A WARRIORS TALES, WHALES, WINTER WOLF, GREAT EXPECTATIONS, FLY AWAY HOME, ROBIN HOOD, and JOHN HENRY. I wish i could go on but im sure ive already overwhelmed you. Linda Blackwolf SalbThe Internet Movie Database ( www.imdb.com <http://www.imdb.com/> )

Hubby brought home these two classics which sparked some interesting
human nature discussions:
THE FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX

TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE

Movies I've liked from the recent past are:

LAST OF THE MOHICANS

THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS

In light of today's events, we may be watching these in near future:

THE RIGHT STUFF

ARMAGEDDON

Wende

I must say I am disappointed that the Dummy is still on there, since I
did not work on this incarnation of a really bad movie. I was involved
(production designer) with the project in 1995, when it collapsed prior
to principal photography, and they still owe me money! I suppose I am
set designer because they *may* still have my blueprints for one of the
build, the rest being location shooting.

I have already written imdb, but no result yet I guess.
