OK. We just watched HP. LOVED IT! It was scary and exciting and Lucius Malfoy
(or as I've been calling him Luscious Malfoy) was brilliant.
About Alan Rickman....
Just don't see it.
Sorry, but Yuck. He has such a puffy face! Not MY Snape.

He got better material in the first one. There wasn't much there for him to
do in the second.

If you didn't like him in the first then you're hopeless! ;-)

I've never actually seen anything with Alan Rickman, I just know how much

Ok, we do see movies on video or dvd and I'll look for one with him in it to
give you my opinion. Movie theaters are just too loud for me and I get all
claustrophobic and ansy. Not worth the horrendous price of admission to be
stressed out.

I think you meant underedjakmated, by the way.

Truly, Madly, Deeply is really good. I watched it because of discussions
online (here or somewhere) about Alan Rickman, and its really wonderful.

The first Harry Potter can be fun, but if you don't like antsy, that might be
no good.

Galaxy Quest is all around wonderful.
Sense and Sensibility is good, if you can stand that period (1800ish).

Try "Truly, Madly, Deeply" is a nice little Brit. film. Very sweet and
funny too.
