I used "ob" in note-taking too. And "de" when most people use "re". Freaked
teachers out! <G>

I use the letter c with a line over it for without, and c with no line over
it for with. As in *Patient has been resting quietly c (with a line over it)
all NOC.* (night) And q for every as in, Tylenol q4 hr. or bid (twice a day)
or tid (three times a day) <g> And last year when I took a course at
Washburn, I loaned my notes to a girl who was absent for a week. Needless to
say, she called and c/o (complained) she couldn't read my notes! <g>
