I really liked Growing Without Schooling: A Record of a Grassroots
Movement. It is the original text of the first 12 Growing Without
Schooling magazines.

I like reading "How Children Fail". I had read it just after my wife
said, "what would you think.." about homeschooling, and reading that book
helped me realize what a sham school is. It opened my eyes.

Also anything by John Taylor Gotto, he is 'radical', for some< but he speaks so many truths for me. Dumbing Us Down is a nice little read.

John Holt is timeless in all ways especially with very little changing
in a culture that doesn't seem to be learning. Lisa
