She will. Mine were all like that - my youngest who is 11 1/2 yo is now going
to bed on her own, no problem, most nights. But sometimes she still asks me
to snuggle up with her while she falls asleep. It wasn't long ago that she
wouldn't be able to fall asleep without me.
