Virginia Chiasson

Or any other day ever again. I am not forcing him to get out of bed at
6am...I am not even setting the alarm.

I am not sending my son to school tommorow and I am not going to "MAKE" him
study either. However, I am going to let him play CIV III because he loves
it and he is definitely learning something from it. And he will tell me what
that is just as soon as he is ready to.

I am not going to send my baby to school tommorow because it's counter
productive and because, when I told him this as he was about to tell me how
he got in trouble for the umpteenth time, I told him he wasn't going back
and he hugged me so hard that I almost lost my breath. He threw his knapsack
down and asked if he could watch "The Lion King" for the thousanth time and
I said yes. We are not on the clock anymore and he did not have ANY homework
to do... not any ever again.

I am not sending my bright wonderful child to school tommorow, and I have
everyone here to thank for showing me the forest for the trees and for
helping me find the courage to stand up to my own fears about all of this.
To Kelly here in SC, for telling me to call you, because you have listened
and cared. To Maria in GA for mirroring what I was afraid of. Find a lawyer
and stop those DSS type jerks from harrassing you. To Sandra...I don't know
how you know all you know but I am glad you do. I have been at your website
for hours reading. And on and on and on...

I am not sending my child to school tommorow and I am going to go finish
watching "The Lion King".

Brightest Blessings,
Virginia

Thanks.

I think I know what I know the same way you and your son will know all you
know, by just looking, asking, reading, tying it together, discussing it with
others, trying it out, amending it, adding to it... Have FUN with your son!
Watch videos and put on happy music and make good-smelling food to steam up
the windows, and laugh!!
