We must have the biggest population of Roly Poly's I've ever seen here.
I thought we had quite a few in OR, but the place we live now beats it by far.
My dd collects and plays with them all the time, she even had a Roly Poly
terrarium for a while.

What are the flat ones called that don't roll up?
We have lots in the compost.

The pill bugs ("sow bugs," my mom called them when I was little in Texas) are
fun, but these flat prehistoric slime eaters are not cute.

The little flattish, oval grey ones that have more than six legs? Sow bugs. Debi
