hi carolyn,

diplomacy: a blessing and a curse. i was trying to be cautious of faith's
feelings because she did say she liked it so well. i have concerns too about
the whole babywise program, and cringe when i hear another couple heard from.

faith, pls. keep in mind that of course we are talking about the method & not
you.

Just to jump in on this thread, a couple of article on this have been in the Telegraph. Their website is http://www.telegraph.co.uk you have to register, but the articles appeared on 19th and 26th September. Sometimes I'm glad I'm not Christian, if I got branded with this lot I'd be really peeved!

Children have to be themselves, not some picture that we (or any one else) would draw for them. I guess that's why we're all unschoolers!

i've never haeard of ezzo until now on this board, but it soundstame
next to a book a well meaning but misguided friend lent me 9 yrs ago.
i don't remeber the authours names but it was husband and wife and they
said spank the kids until they stop crying, and they should not be
allowed to cry. oh and NEVER call them kids, they are children.(thats
what they said) it was a whole book on very militant child rearing.
