Cry to Heaven was my favorite Anne Rice novel. It is about the Castrati in
Italy. The castrated male opera singers. They mostly sang the women's parts
If she like Anne Rice's writing style she may like Dean Koontz. I think they
are similar.

I love Dean Koontz books. They are gripping and sometimes
terrifying, but they always leave you feeling good. :)

Did he write Whispers? I love that book but about cried when they made the
movie because they just plain ruined it!

They have made movies out of a couple of Koontz's books. Big
mistake. The reason the books are so great is the way he lets you
inside the thoughts of the characters. Movies just can't do that as
well.

I like they way he put his words together. I wish he would get all those
poems that are attributed to "The Book of Counted Sorrows" and publish them.
He actually wrote them.
