That might be a good idea, but there is one problem. I am so exhausted
from staying up so late for my personal time (and because I can't get to
sleep at night) and then getting up at dawn every morning, that I look
forward to nap time to rest and gather my strength for the rest of the
afternoon and evening. I need several days with DH, when he can watch the
kids and let me rest and recover and THEN work on changing our two year
old's schedule. I am the type of person who needs 8 or 9 hours of sleep a
night and I have been operating on between 4 and 6 hours a night for a long
time now. It is not a pretty picture... :-(

Nanci,
I can relate! We've been passing germs around here for a month....even
during our 10 day vacation, the toddler was sick 5 days and up six nights.
So my sleep debt only increased on *vacation*!
Thought we were past that since, but for the last few nights the
toddler (17 mos.) has awakened in the night. (two nights ago it was from 1
a.m. to 4:30 a.m. !
I used to think I wanted four children in our family, but this sleep
deprivation with a !7mos old is changing my mind! (No to mention how it
would change our economics (i.e., we don't have a van, only a 5 seat -
subcompact! - car, don't know where another bed could go in this 1250 sq
ft, tiny bedroomed house).
I'm rambling in delerium...I apologize...Anyway, this makes it tough to
follow through with the 7.5 yo on projects. Oh well, I'm hanging in
there.....knowing *This To Shall Pass*. I'm off now for the a.m. walk I
promised myself...
TTFN,
Susan
