I totally agree. My mother was overinvolved in my own life and now feels
it is her duty to interject wisdom. TG we live across the country.

I've thought about sending her books but I'm not sure how it would come
out. She in my guess would read them and come out against them and my ideas
even stronger. She thinks Montessori and Waldorf theories on children reading
later (around 8 ) is pure bullshit. <her words. Now these and other theories
supporting it are very old but to her have no ground. There are windows and
if I miss them I have screwed up my child. @@

Because I work for an animal shelter and foster dogs/cats here and have
goats, 2 pot belly pigs, rabbits and lots of other creatures that need me
in the morning. I cannot rush the job or something happens...he did get to
open them at 9:00 though :o) I got done sooner than I thought I would!
