Denver By Mrs. Alphabet

Use this poem to identify spot D names and to elicit new D names. Write out
on sentence strips, place in a pocket chart, and then brainstorm other
places to live that begin with B from your class.

Interview 6 people and ask them this question: Can you dive? Record the
results.

Take an imaginary trip on a donkey. Write or have children dictate a story
and illustrate. Display children's work in a book form.

shape, size, sorting, and counting.

the D sound in their name.

Read a poem and have children color code all the d words.
