Use this poem to identify spot D names and to elicit new D names. Write out
on sentence strips, place in a pocket chart, and then brainstorm other
places to live that begin with B from your class.

Interview 6 people and ask them this question: Can you dive? Record the
results.

and illustrate. Display children's work in a book form.
Visit Delaware; locate on your map or globe, then go to:

graphing, adding, sorting, patterns, subtracting, or bingo markers.
Ask the children to bring in dominoes to compare, contrast, and collect.

Use different size stuffed dogs for a math lesson demonstrating: color,
shape, size, sorting, and counting.
