This is a really neat name site. It's a fun place for statistic nuts
and geography buffs.

Do a search on any name (person's first or last name, town name, etc.)
and get a list of town names with that name as well as other
interesting stats. Lots of great links, maps, etc.

Here's the address: http://www.placesnamed.com

Enjoy!

Well I went there, and looked up Rio de Jesus (a place in Panama I'm looking
for a date on) and it didn't come up. Rio de la Plata. Didn't come up.
That's okay.

I tried York, thinking there would be several and I could see how the list
works.

The list works on U.S. placenames only. It showed all cities and counties
named York in the U.S., but the original "York" in England after which
they're all named didn't come up. Nor did any in Canada.

Just a note...

Tami Labig-Duquette

Labig didnt come up either
