Hi,

I am in the Metro area and would also love to come meet you. It would be
so much fun. I have a 10 yr. old who loves being unschooled.

Hi!
Before I forget, could the people who are traveling the country with
their families in an rv please tell us where they'll be? If you get to
th St. Louis Mo. Metro area, I'd love to come out and meet you! It would
be fun, I think. I know a family wwho did it for 6 mo. and enjoyed the
experience.
My names Djuana (Doo ah nah) and my dh and kids and I are on thhe
Illinois side of St. Louis, mo. We have 3 kids - 8 yr old dd, 5 year old
dd, and 2 yer old ds. I always planned to hs them, but the oldest
basically led me to unschooling since she completely refuses to learn
anything 'til its her choice. I don't think i'd have it any other way.
I'm looking forward to being part of this list. Djuana,

I think that's so cool if you do!

I have a "cyber-friend" that I've known for over two years now. We joined a list where we all had our babies in the same month/year. I am finally getting to meet her TOMORROW! She and her kids live in Des Moines and are traveling to Texas. I live in Kansas and am driving over to Joplin, Mo tomorrow so we can go through the Precious Moments Chapel at Carthage together. We're spending the night and then we'll go on our separate ways. We've sent pictures and talked on the phone, but it "ain't gonna be nothing" like seeing her in person!!

You guys really ought to plan an outing together being so close like that! And don't forget to bring your cameras!

Terri

Dear Djuana,
We live in Kansas City, MO. On June 15, 16, 17, 18 we will be in Montgomery, MO,
not too far from St. Louis. But then St. Louis is only about 3 1/2 hours from KC.

Hi, Molly, I live in central Kansas, 50 miles northeast of Wichita. I'm only about 2 1/2 hours to Kansas City. Looks like there's several of us that are closer than we thought!

Hey! You'll be driving through my back yard! We are in Raytown. Joplin is just a
couple hours straight south of us.

Terri, Hope you have a fun get-together. I've probably met about 30
people from the various lists I'm on, sometimes traveling cross-
country for big gatherings, sometimes when they visit here, and
sometimes just meeting them when we're traveling through on vacation.
It's always been wonderful, people I've "known" online have never
disappointed me in person!
