guess what... i did the Symantec thing (took about 2 hours! I need
to clear out my temporary internet files...) and I have the files...
bummer... so do I have to do all that safe-mode stuff? I take it
they don't just delete from windoze...

yeap....do the safe-mode. Its safer and
easier.
I hope you did write down the virus names that symantec
showed you that you had. Also after you do the safe-mode thingy and delete the
viruses...go back to symantec and redo the virus check...just to be on the safe
side.
