I too have done the dye thing!! I have a picture of my (now 10) yo sons butt from when he was 2, I made a donald duck cake and put it in the stove to save it for some friends to come share with us, we waited and waited and waited for them to show, meanwhile the 2 yo found the cake , climbed up on the stove door and scarfed it down!! when I went to give him a bath, his whole butt was green from the dye in his diaper!!!
it was really funny!

as for the homeschool-fleamail group, you should be able to go to egroups type in homeschool-fleamail into the search for email groups and it should come up, then click on subscribe and choose how you would like to get your mail, digest, individual, or web only!
good luck to ya!

I have done this with my children too!!! However, it
is not limited to the Wal-Mart brand, any brand of
purple of blue Kool-Aid will turn the stool green if
you drink enough of it! You are so correct it is
NEON!!! HA HA

Lucky Charms cereal does that to my son. Not my
daughter, oddly...oh, wait, that's cuz I never gave it
to her... it makes her brother poop BRIGHT NEON green!
scary.

Ha! My 11-year-old daughter had her appendix out in November and
she was drinking tons of blue Gatorade at home the week after her
surgery. She had also been munching on some blue hard candy my sister
had sent her.

We went to the surgeon for her one-week checkup ---- she used the
bathroom there and came out of the stall with her face as white as a
ghost and said "Mom, my poop is neon green." Geez. As if getting her
appendix out wasn't enough for the poor girl, NOW she had
glow-in-the-dark poop! She was SURE she had something VERY seriously
wrong with her!

Well, I might as well join this silly conversation - I have noticed the
same grape-turns-green scenario. Has anyone ever noticed that if you spray
ammonia on grape juice it turns green? Do you think it could all be the
same type of chemical reaction?

How did you make this discovery? Also I haven't noticed this effect with real grapes. I make grape jelly every summer and the kids eat as much as they pick.
