Campbell & Wyman

Has anyone ever seen an interesting book on the lives on any of the
medieval composers or painters/sculptors?
Or just medieval times in general???

This is the part that I love about freestyle learning...I am always being
stretched to learn more myself!!
Thanks,
Brooke

I don't know of any books in particular, although I have seen a few a the
library.... I do have a couple of great links and maybe these sights might
have some research suggestions.

Uppity Women of Medieval Times.... I can't remember the exact title but
Uppity is a dead give away.

It's pretty cool.... It's like a Barnes and Nobel cheapo special.

Books to Build on by E. D. Hirsch has a list of books on Medeival Europe for
4th graders.

Greenleaf has loads of fiction and non fiction for history. I'm not sure
when they do Europe so it may be upper level fiction.

Beautiful Feet Books has lots of history novels too. Their European history
is also upper level. http://www.bfbooks.com

The second 2 carry a number of books oriented towards Christians but mostly
they are mainstream novels and nonfiction.
