I would say no, the word chapter would not be capped.

Well, don't know if my first reply went through or not, but for all those
grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. questions, the two "bibles" on any good
secretary's desk are "HOW" and "Gregg."

According to both you do not use upper case for listing chapter or verse,
etc.
