Colette and Andrew

Hi Lynda~

I live in the Puget Sound Area - Kitsap County.  Are you in WA also?  Your post about Tilden Park (the little farm), etc. brought back lots of great memories.  My son and I would spend hours at the Little Farm feeding the animals.  I only lived about 5 miles away from there so it was something we did quite often.  We also strolled along Solano Ave. alot as well.  :o)  I am hoping to make a holiday trip back home this year so I will have to make sure and see all of the "old haunts".

I just had to come out of lurk mode to get in on this conversation since I am a Bay Area Native as well who now lives in Washington state!  I grew up in the East Bay also.  How wonderful it is to know some people from "home"!  :o)

The world is getting smaller.  I was born there (SF) and grew up in the East
Bay.  We take trips down there routinely.  Lot of history there since
Grandma Dorothy was born during the 1906 earthquake and as found on a park
bence.

Lynda

We live in Humboldt County but take the kidlets down there at least once a year.  We've kinda carved it up and hit a different section each time.  And, as hubby is from the East Coast, it is all new to him so I am having a ball!  Ya should have seen them at the Oakland zoo in those little basket like thingys with their feet hanging over the lions <<<BEWG>>> it was hysterical!
