Sure. It was one of the first homeschooling books I read, fortunately. It
helped me to give my daughter a greater degree of freedom when we started
homeschooling. I'm still not where I want to be on this, but the book was
quite helpful in getting this far.

Yes, Kim, I've read it. We are not yet unschooling but we are definitely considering, mostly thanks to this book!

Hi All,
I just had to share this.  My friend who is an avid unschooler, just lent me a book titled, 'The Unschooling Handbook' by Mary Griffith.  It is a wonderful book!  I couldn't put it down!  I have already read half of the book today!  I recommend it to anyone who is unschooling, thinking about unschooling, unschools but has doubts about their kids not learning anything, READ IT!!!!  I wish that I would have found this book a long time ago!
Has anyone else on this list read it?

I won this book last year in a raffle at a home-ed festival! It's great,
I'm really glad I have it. Now if I can only win the Teenage
Liberation Handbook, I think I'll manage!!
