Trayton, 12, uses GameMaker 6.0 which has a useful little freeware version
and a bigger one that costs about $20 I think. You can play the first game
he wrote by himself on our hopelessly out of date website. and click on [download Riu Pong 1.0]

The characters fighting each other are drawings he made on paper and scanned

The game is the only thing dh has had time to update this year. I guess I
could do it myself...
