Hello,
I am new to unschooling and would love to attend a conference of like
minded individuals! I know about the LiveandLearn conference, but it
is always around the same date and I cannot attend then. I thought I
had seen another conference posted recently. Can someone out there let
me know about other conferences??
Thanks much

There's one in April: LIFE is Good in Corvallis, Oregon, hosted by Mary
Gold.

I know there's one in Wisconsin, but I'm sorry I don't have details.

Cindy Fox and the Arizona unschoolers are hosting a homeschooling
conference that may have an unschooling *feel* to it (later this month,
I think).

Pam Laricchia's Toronto Unschooling Conference in May, I believe.

California hosts the HSC---not strictly unschooling, but many
unschoolers go---in August.

Barb Lundgren's Rethinking Education in Texas the Labor Day weekend
before the L&L.

You could also google "unschooling conference" and see what hits you
get.

This is a FAR cry from what was offered just five years ago!!!

You could also plan your own! <bwg> If you plan it, they will come!

The Unschooling Conference in Wisconsin took place on Feb 10th of this year. But, I guess they're already planning for next year...

This-coming weekend, 2/24-2/25, in Tempe, Arizona. Sandra Dodd and
Mary Griffith are both speakers. My 22 yo daughter, Roya, and I will
also be speaking. All of us will be talking about unschooling and
there will quite a few other unschoolers there, too.

Website for the Arizona conference is:
