I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for all the advice.

I decided to stop reading and start doing and just see how a day would
do without using the word "no" as was being discussed.

We had fettucine alfredo for breakfast and are now eating snickers and
carrots for lunch (nice combo, eh?)lol

Both my girls are eating in their underwear.

Just a week ago I would have said "no, we're having this for
breakfast" or "its time to get dressed". Thanks for helping me think
outside the box.

Everyone is happy today (so far) with no tantrums.

And despite the snickers and carrots, lol, so far- no casualties :)

Way cool! I often have salads or fruit smoothies with greens added
(called "green smoothies") for breakfast. Food is food. It's only our
culture that has categorized it according to meal times :)

It was a joke.
Staying in pj's all day has nothing to do with college, although there are many who will insist that your kids will never learn to get dressed on their own unless you make them.

My kids can dress themselves (well my 14 month old can do a shirt
lol) but some days they choose not to.

Hell- I say we wear pjs EVERYDAY. You will find me at walmart,
grocery shopping at midnight in my pjs every week. I love it! LOL

It was a joke. People will ask that a lot as your kids get older...be
prepared.
