No such thing as a fish
Rach
My daughter and I have started listening to these great funny and interesting podcasts before we go to bed, and I thought I would share them here and maybe add a bit of cheer. I hope that's ok.
They are by the writers of the English TV programme QI and is their most interesting facts of the week. They remind me of Sandra's ideas about connections and joining the dots :)

I'm listening to one of those podcasts now!
The program "QI" is fun. It stands for "Quite Interesting."
I learned about it visiting Schuyler when her family was still in the UK.

There's there youtube channel.
VERY interesting programs, painless, short, silly, but fun trivia.

And another thing. This is great because you can skim it easily, and the podcasts are right there, and you can get a notification of a new one.

Tons of brief trivia, some with images, some with moving gifs or video.

Rachel’s great link to No Such Thing as a Fish reminded me of The Infinite
Monkey Cage which is a BBC radio broadcast hosted by Brian Cox and Robin Ince,
and bills itself as a “Witty, irreverent look at the world according to
science...”
The podcasts are here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/timc
And this Wikipedia page has a list of episodes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Infinite_Monkey_Cage
It’s quite funny.
