Thanks for the site reference to read John Gatto's "Dumbing Us Down."  I just finished reading "Weapons of Mass Instruction."  Enjoyed learning a bit about the reasons behind compulsory schooling even though I had always been sold on homeschooling and now on unschooling.  Anyway, I recommend reading Gatto....
