My mom grows organic grapes - they are green, big, sweet and swarming with
spiders <G>. We just take a garden hose to them and spray them, hard, before
picking.

This is in Long Beach, California -- not know as grape country -- but she
must have the ideal spot because she gets huge big wonderful bunches of great
grapes.

Grapes also grow great here in Tracy (San Joaquin Valley). We used to have
vines at our previous house, ditto on the spiders and the cure ;), and an
additional tip is to pick them at night so as to avoid arguing with the
swarms of bees over them!
