I have a beef tongue (ack,gross, gag!!) memory for ya....
My Grandparents had a farm, including beef cattle. Guess who the lucky kid
was that got to haul in the "parts" after a cow was butchered one summer?

Yucko. I remember staring at that not-so-pink-anymore tongue and wondering
why on earth anyone would want to EAT it!

childrens' feelings like that? As if to toughen up is
good for children. ??
