About this group
[email protected]
First, we've had half a dozen or more people drop off the list (not all of a
sudden, but over the couple of weeks), so that means it's a real live group,
breathing in and out and no longer holding its breath.
The current readership (assuming they're reading) is 127.
<< In a roundabout way, this email group was recommended to me. Is everyone
here unschooling? >>
I'd like to hope so.
"Yes" is the ideal answer.
If you subscribed directly on someone else's recommendation, here's what you
missed reading at Yahoogroups.
Description Category: Attachment Parenting
Discussion for homeschooling fans of John Holt, whose books Learning All the
Time, Never Too Late, and Teach your Own have made unschooling a sweet and
viable option for thousands of families.
This is a moderated group, with trapdoors for the uncooperative. (Not
moderated in the advance-approval way, but in the be-nice-to-play way.)
It's an idea group and is intended to lean more toward pure unschooling than
neutral, general homeschooling discussion--there are hundreds of general
homeschooling discussions for newcomers. It's to focus more toward how
people learn no matter where in the world they are, rather than on what's
legal in any particular country or jurisdiction.
If you have questions or complaints, write to SandraDodd@...

FWIW to anyone, I'm setting most of my lists to digest this morning,
as I'm off to Alaska later today. I'll try to read when I can, but if
it comes down to reading or playing with my Alaskan granddaughters
there ain't gonna be no angst involved... <g>
If anyone really needs to reach me, write to me at

Have fun, be good, etc.
