Oh, Rue,,
I'll maybe have to pick your brain, I'm attempting to make some bracelets
right now with beads and wire and I'm having an interesting time! Ha!
Will you be bringing some with you to the conference?

Hi Kelli - Feel free to pick my brain :0). I'd love to help. I wasn't
planning on bringing anything, but maybe I will. ~Rue

I'd love to see what you've made, I'm sure others would too.
Right now I'm working on a bracelet. I have this vision of what I would
like, and it really is not turning out to be what I want. I'll keep
working on it. I'll bring it with to SC and I'll show it to you,
although by then I may have trashed it so much by taking it apart, putting
it back together again. It might not even resemble a bracelet! <g> Oh
well, my first try so I'll try and go easy on myself. I am enjoying
working on it though! The funny thing is that I'm not much into wearing
jewelry but I just have this itch to try and make this thing. Its
haunting my dreams! <g>

Kelli - Can you really wait til August? You must be a MUCH more patient
person than I am :0). If you want to try to describe it to me offlist, or
send a digital picture, feel free. I love a challenge :>). I practiced a
lot with wire from the hardware store before moving on to sterling. I have
to get up in the middle of the night sometimes to draw pictures of ideas I
have (which hardly resemble what I make, since I can't draw).
I hardly ever wear jewelry. I wonder how many jewelry makers are like us?

This is so cool! I've just started making beaded necklaces and rings
this week and it's all I can think about. I started with the girls
craft bead kits and had to go buy my own. Please do a workshop! I'm
almost really sure I'm coming. The main focus of my jewelry has been
the stones the girls are constantly finding, putting in their pockets,
and "gifting" to me in the laundry. Simple driveway stones look
beautiful surrounded by wires and glass beads. I've worked on them till
1-2 in the morning and then dreamed of bowls of beads! HeidiC.

That's a great idea, Heidi. I have quite a collection of those stones
myself :0).
>>>Please do a workshop!I'll leave that up to Kelly. If I don't do one, I'd still be happy to show
you some techniques while we're there. In the meantime, here's a website
that gives instructions on the basics:
