Remember when on Wayne's World when Wayne and Garth conjured up a visit to
Madonna's bedroom?
"Look at the unit on THAT one," I believe was the quote, of Garth in profile,
in their dreams. <bwg>
Anyone remember the 1960's phenomenon "plaster casters"?
Perhaps their work will show up in a wax museum somewhere...
A future study of bygone units.

It's at a gallery in San Francisco. I can't remember the artist's
name. You could have a field trip to SF and conduct your own
study of unit studies.

Oh no.
I was going to say "look on google," but I did, and some windows came up
which were less than wholly desireable.
They were a couple of women who started a collection of casts of the privates
of famous rock'n'rollers. At least they did Jimi Hendrix (an oft-quoted bit
you can find on the web, that I've seen published a few times over the
years), and talked/bragged about doing lots of others.
No worth reading about.
