Jill came to unschooling in 2002, and after seven years she summarized her path and progress in "Unschooling for Seven Years."


Jill Parmer was a presenter at the Always Learning Live Symposium in New Mexico in 2012, Minnesota in 2013, and New Mexico again in 2014 (along with Luke that time).

2010: Jill is a WoW playing former ski instructor who lives with her husband and their children Addi and Luke in Fort Collins, Colorado. Jill sews and knits and shares her parenting wisdom with others.

2021: Jill still lives in Fort Collins. Her kids are grown and she's working happily in a small upholstery shop, listening to podcasts and surviving pandemics.
